What is DKV?
DKV is the name of two connected things in the Donkeyverse, the project behind Idle Donkeys:
- The DKV NFTs. A Solana collection of 3,333 donkeys. In the game, each one works as a zero-skim manager with trait bonuses, and owning one unlocks DKV earnings.
- The DKV token. An SPL token on Solana. In-game DKV carries the same value as the on-chain token, and you can withdraw it to your wallet from the in-game exchange.
Short version: DKV is the Idle Donkeys NFT collection and token on Solana. The game is free to play. NFTs and tokens are optional extras and carry financial risk. Nothing here is financial advice.
Want a DKV donkey? Mint it here
The only official mint is on this site, and it is our own: no outside launchpad, no middleman. You pay in SOL from your Solana wallet, the donkey is drawn at random once your payment goes through, and it lands straight in your wallet, ready to work as a manager in Idle Donkeys.
Mint a DKV now Or buy one in the Recruitment Office
Already seeing a mint page somewhere else? If it isn't idledonkeys.com/mint.html, it isn't ours. Old launchpad links are not our mint.
Official addresses
Verify any DKV link or token against these two addresses before you connect a wallet.
What can you do with DKV?
- Earn it by playing: Business 14, the DKV Token Mint, produces it once you have an NFT manager assigned.
- Upgrade with it: spend DKV in the Trait Store to change an NFT's traits. Changes are written to the NFT's metadata on Solana.
- Stake NFTs for daily rewards in Staking. The NFT stays in your wallet.
- Trade donkeys in the Recruitment Office in SOL or DKV, or on Magic Eden.
- Scout any donkey's bonuses for free with the Bonus Checker.
How do you earn DKV?
- Play Idle Donkeys in your browser or on Seeker.
- Get a DKV NFT from the Mint page or the Recruitment Office and assign it as a manager.
- Unlock Business 14, the DKV Token Mint, and earn. A DKV earning cap grows with every NFT you assign and every prestige you complete.
- Use the in-game exchange to send real DKV to your Solana wallet.
The full details are in the wiki and the Web3 guide.
Don't confuse DKV with similar names
Several unrelated Solana tokens use names like Donkey, Donk or Donkey Koin. They have no connection to Idle Donkeys or the Donkeyverse. Before you buy or connect a wallet to anything:
- Check the token's mint address against the official addresses above.
- Only mint and trade through the links on idledonkeys.com.
- Remember that the team will never DM you first or ask for your seed phrase.
Always verify. If a link or DM claims to be Idle Donkeys, check it against this site first. Read the Web3 safety guide.

What is the DKV token mint address?
The official DKV token mint on Solana is ${L.DKV_TOKEN_MINT} (6 decimals). Always check the mint address before you buy or swap anything called DKV.
Where do I mint a DKV NFT?

Do I need DKV to play?
No. The game is free to play without a wallet or any NFT. DKV and NFTs are optional.
