Privacy Policy

1. Who We Are

Idle Donkeys is operated by Donkeyverse. We build and maintain the Idle Donkeys game, available at idledonkeys.com and on Android via the Solana dApp Store. This policy explains what data we collect, how we use it, and your rights.

2. Data We Collect

2a. Data you provide directly

• Google account info — when you sign in with Google we receive your Google User ID, display name, and email address. This is used to identify your account and sync your game save.
• Solana wallet address — if you connect a wallet (Phantom etc.) we store the public wallet address to link NFT ownership and process DKV withdrawals. We never receive or store private keys or seed phrases.
• Support communications — if you contact us by email or Discord, we store the content of those messages to respond to your request.

2b. Data collected automatically

• Game save data — your game state (businesses, currencies, managers, prestige progress) is stored in Firebase Realtime Database, linked to your Google User ID.
• Purchase records — if you buy crystal packs, we store a record of the transaction (pack ID, slot, timestamp). Payment processing is handled by Stripe (card) or the Solana blockchain (SOL). We do not store card numbers.
• Analytics events — we collect anonymised gameplay events (e.g. prestige count, NFT assignments, crystal purchases) via Firebase Analytics to understand how the game is played. This data does not personally identify you.
• Device & session info — Firebase may collect standard device identifiers, OS version, and session duration as part of its analytics SDK.

3. How We Use Your Data

• To operate and sync your game account across devices
• To process DKV token earnings and withdrawals
• To verify NFT ownership for in-game bonuses
• To process crystal pack purchases and deliver them to your account
• To respond to support requests
• To detect and prevent abuse, exploits, or fraudulent activity
• To understand gameplay patterns and improve the game

We do not sell your personal data to third parties. We do not use your data for advertising.

4. Third-Party Services

We use the following third-party services, each with their own privacy policy:

• Google Firebase — authentication, database, and analytics. Firebase Privacy
• Stripe — payment processing for card purchases. Stripe Privacy
• Solana blockchain — all on-chain transactions (DKV withdrawals, NFT data, SOL purchases) are public by nature of the blockchain.
• Railway — our backend server infrastructure. Railway Privacy

5. Blockchain & Public Data

When you withdraw DKV tokens or make SOL purchases, those transactions are recorded on the Solana blockchain and are permanently public. Your wallet address and transaction amounts are visible to anyone. We have no ability to modify or delete on-chain data.

6. Data Retention

We retain your game data for as long as your account is active. If you wish to delete your account and all associated data, contact us at venomdonkeys@gmail.com and we will process your request within 30 days.

Note: on-chain data (blockchain transactions) cannot be deleted by us or anyone else.

7. Children’s Privacy

Idle Donkeys is not intended for children under 18. We do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 18. If you believe a child has provided us with personal data, please contact us immediately and we will delete it.

8. Your Rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to:

• Access the personal data we hold about you
• Request correction of inaccurate data
• Request deletion of your data (right to erasure)
• Object to certain processing of your data
• Data portability

9. Security

We take reasonable technical measures to protect your data, including secure HTTPS connections, Firebase security rules, and server-side token verification for all sensitive operations. However, no system is 100% secure. Please use a strong, unique password for your Google account and keep your wallet seed phrase safe.

10. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will update the “Last updated” date at the top of this page. Continued use of the Game after changes constitutes your acceptance of the updated policy.
