Minting is the process of creating a brand new NFT on the blockchain. When you mint a DKV NFT, you pay a small fee to permanently record your unique Donkey on the Solana network.

DKV Tokens & SPL Tokens
SPL tokens are Solana’s version of digital currency (like ERC-20 tokens on Ethereum). DKV is an SPL token — a real digital asset on the Solana network with real value.
In Idle Donkeys, you earn DKV tokens through Business 14. The in-game DKV carries the same value as the real on-chain token. Once you have enough, use the in-game exchange to send real DKV directly to your Phantom wallet — ready to hold, trade, or stake.
To unlock DKV token earnings you need at least one DKV NFT Manager assigned to any business. This unlocks Business 14 and activates the in-game exchange.
The Trait Store
The Trait Store lets you upgrade the traits on your DKV NFT to improve its in-game bonuses. Different traits provide different bonuses — speed, production output, and cost reduction.
The process works in two steps:

Upgrading your traits is permanent and recorded on the blockchain, meaning your improved NFT is yours to keep, trade, or use across the DKV ecosystem.

Create a new wallet and write down your seed phrase — a list of 12 words that is the only way to recover your wallet.

Store your seed phrase somewhere safe and offline. Never share it with anyone for any reason.
